The official site for the event Cycle Mode International 2016 announced that the anime from Manga Noriyuki Matsumoto's entitled Minami Kamakura Joshi Koko Jitensha-Bu (Kamakura Minami High School Girls Cycling Club) will air in January. Matsumoto confirm the date of its broadcast on his official Twitter account on Saturday.
Susumu Kudo (Mardock Scramble: The First Compression, Dear Boys) into direction anime to come, and Kurumi Sunayama (Bakuon !!, the script on Yowamushi Pedal) as a script writer.
The story begins with a girl who moved from Nagasaki to Kamakura named Hiromi Maiharu. He began his new life in Kamakura and the first day in high school by cycling to school, but he never ride a bike again since he was little. On the way to the ceremony for the first day, he met Tomoe Akitsuki, then Tomoe taught him a better way to cycling.
Matsumoto launched the manga in the magazine Mag Garden's Monthly Comic Blade in 2011, and compiled volumes eighth release in Japan in April. This anime series inspired from CD dramas and original songs with the release of the second volume.
